with Layla Bellows, Community Data Analyst, Atlanta BeltLine, Inc.

Layla supports the BeltLine's equity efforts by acquiring, analyzing, and ultimately visualizing information about neighborhoods and residents surrounding the BeltLine. Prior to this role, Layla was a senior data analyst at the Atlanta Regional Commission and Neighborhood Nexus, where she specialized in developing interactive community data explorers and data communication. Layla holds a master’s in geography from Georgia State University, where she examined environmental gentrification and displacement; she also holds a master’s in journalism from the University of Missouri and a bachelor’s in psychology from Oglethorpe University.
