Searching in Historical Newspapers: Discovering Historical Newspapers in Library of Congress' Chronicling America Online

In this session, History Librarian Lauren Bellard will provide an overview of how to use the Chronicling America database to find historical newspapers from across the United States. She will also present on Library of Congress Research Guides that contain helpful search strategies on historical topics, including the most effective historical terminology to use as keywords when searching Chronicling America and other newspaper databases.

You will need speakers or headphones, or you can listen via phone. You do not need a microphone and can participate in discussion via chat if you do not have microphone access.
