Dr. Elizabeth J. West, Professor and Amos Distinguished Chair in English Letters, will speak on her new book, Finding Francis: One Family's Journey from Slavery to Freedom (U. of South Carolina Press, 2022). 

Part of the #AboutATL series, presented by the University Library. This talk will be co-sponsored by the Center for Studies on Africa and Its Diaspora and the Decatur Book Festival.

A book signing & reception will follow, with an opportunity to purchase books from the Georgia State Bookstore.
