SAS 1 - Introduction to SAS Statistical Software In-Person

This SAS 1 workshop is the first in a series of three workshops on using SAS statistical software.

Prerequisites: Understanding of basic statistical concepts and procedures is assumed.

This workshop will give a foundation for using SAS statistical software. Participants will learn:

  • how to navigate inside SAS enterprise,
  • how to use the control panel,
  • where to find datasets offered by SAS,
  • how to import and read raw data into SAS, and
  • how to create a SAS table from a CSV file.*

*This workshop is for only the mechanical understanding of doing analysis in SAS. You will not receive advice on what statistical tests to run, etc.
