This workshop is the first session of a workshop series where the instructor will introduce Python as a language for scientific computing. The intended audience is absolute beginners to Python language as well as to scientific computing. The first workshop will cover essentials elements of programming. The participant will complete all hands-on material using web-based tools, DICE High-Performance Interactive learning environment, and no software installation needed on local computers.
Attendees are expected to bring laptop computers to access the web-based tools during the workshop.
Registration is only open for Georgia State student, faculty and staff.
