GIS 2: Extracting Features from Digitized Maps with ArcGIS In-Person

Digitized maps often contain features and layers that you might want to extract for specific projects. This workshop will teach you how to create pinpoints, lines, and polygon GIS data from map images.  

Workshop Topics:

  • Creating pinpoints, lines, and polygon GIS data from map images

  • Importing pinpoints, lines, and polygon GIS data into ArcGIS Online

Prerequisites: No prerequisites required, but the following workshops provide useful a foundation:

  • Georeferencing Digitalized Maps and Aerial Photos with ArcGIS
