ICPSR: Finding Social Science Datasets In-Person
This workshop will give an overview of using ICPSR (Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research) to find social sciences datasets for use in original data analysis.
Workshop Topics:
- Searching and browsing techniques for identifying relevant datasets
- Understanding a dataset record and other documentation describing datasets
- Processes for downloading public-use datasets and applying for restricted-use datasets
