This workshop is the first of a three-part series on social network analysis. You will learn how to use social network analysis to examine the connections between individuals or groups both visually and through specific measurements.

Workshop Topics:

  • Social networks (defined)
  • Ego networks
  • Sociocentric networks
  • Network components

Prerequisites: None.

NOTE:

  • This is the first workshop in a three-part series (Networks 2 is the second, Networks 3 is the third).
  • Please read our Workshops ~ Etiquette & Policies page for pertinent information to your workshop attendance.

Presenters: Raeda Anderson, Ph.D., Quantitative Data Specialist, and George Usmanov, Graduate Research Assistant, both members of the Library's Research Data Services Team.
