The third of 4 talks in the series highlights the work of author and researcher Andrew I. Cohen.

Andrew I. Cohen is Director of the Jean Beer Blumenfeld Center for Ethics and Associate Professor of Philosophy at Georgia State University. He regularly teaches courses in ethics, applied ethics, and social/political philosophy. He is author of Philosophy, Ethics, and Public Policy (Routledge, 2015) and Apologies and Moral Repair (Routledge, 2020). He co-edited Contemporary Debates in Applied Ethics (Wiley Blackwell, 2004, 2015) and edited Philosophy and Public Policy (Rowman & Littlefield International, 2018). He appears regularly in media, podcasts, or at public talks to speak on themes in applied and practical ethics. His current work focuses on the ethics of memory and commemoration, as well as on themes in the role of the humanities in education. See ethics.gsu.edu.
