In this online workshop, Humanities Instruction Librarian Jill Anderson will 

  • Demonstrate various techniques for inclusive searching in article databases and in the library's catalog 
  • Offer background/discussion on the culturally biased nature of subject terms used within databases and library catalogs 
  • Suggest search strategies that can help work around the limitations of subject terms

You will need speakers or headphones, or you can listen via phone. You do not need a microphone and can participate in discussion via chat if you do not have microphone access.
